Ways to Sign into SecurePass

What is SecurePass?

SecurePass is a user-friendly solution for Visitor, Staff, and Contractor sign-in and sign-out management. It provides real-time visibility of who is on-site and who they are visiting.

Ways to Sign-in

There are three ways in which users of SecurePass can sign in:

Physical Kiosk Sign-in

This is the most common method for users to sign into your site using SecurePass. It involves interacting with the physical iPad, selecting your user type, entering your contact details, and then acknowledging and agreeing to the sign-in steps.

Ideally, your kiosk should be located in a high-traffic area, such as a reception office. For visitors on-site, we recommend promoting this option over using a QR code.

Note: Above is an example look and feel of your initial site sign-in screen in a SecurePass iPad kiosk.

Contactless QR Sign-in

An alternative method is using the Contactless QR code option or scanning and using the QR code displayed on the kiosk app. As seen in the previous image, a QR code is displayed in the bottom right-hand corner of the kiosk screen.

Users simply need to scan this QR code with their smartphone camera, select whether they are signing in or out, choose their user type, enter and verify their phone number via a text message, and then proceed with the traditional sign-in steps.

After this, the user will be signed in.

Note: The following screens will be presented when you start the QR code sign-in process.

Printed Poster QR Code Sign-in

The final method is using a QR code displayed on a physical printed poster.

This method follows the same sign-in experience as method number 2 above. However, using QR codes as posters is a great way to encourage sign-ins and sign-outs from various locations around your site.

Please note: When using the QR code approach for sign-in, you will need to verify your mobile number.
