How to Add Contractor Business Employees in SecurePass

As a contractor business admin, once you have completed your profile in SecurePass and uploaded the necessary contractor business details and requirements, it is highly recommended that you add your contractor employees as soon as possible.

How to Add Contractor Business Employees 

 

Contractor Business Employees can be added into the system by both System Admin and Contractor Business Admins. 

 

  • If an Employee is added into the System via a Contractor Business Admins, this will need to be Verified by a System Admin 

  • If a System Admins, adds a Contractor Business Employees they will be verified and  added into the system automatically. 

 

  • Go to the contractor business profile and click on the ‘Employee’ tab.

  • Click the ‘Add Employee’ button.

 

  • In the pop-up form, enter the employee’s full name.

  • Input their mobile number and email address, if available.

  • Click the ‘Submit’ button.

 

  • Wait for the page to automatically refresh.

  • Click the ‘Review & submit changes for approval’ button to send your updates for approval to the site admin, then check the uploaded document in the table, pending the site admin’s approval.



  • Now the Contractor Business Admin will need to approve that request. 



    What notifications a System Admin will receive. 

 

  • If you are a System Admin that needs to approve the Contractor Employee's profile you will receive an email notification that looks like this. To Accept or Discard this revision, simply click on the blue link. 

 

Note: A System Admin will only receive this notification if a Contractor Business Admin has submitted a request. 


What notifications a Contractor Business Admin will receive. 

 

  • When the added Contractor Employee has been approved by a System Admin, an email notification will be sent to the Contractor Business Admins email address. Notifying them

This notification will look something like this  

 

 

  • If your request has been declined by a System Admin. You will receive a notification that looks like this. 

 

  • Once your added contractor employee is approved by a site admin, it would look like something like below.



What notifications a Contractor Employee will receive 

 

Depending on what notifications and features have been turned on for the SecurePass Site. The notifications will vary depending on what a Contractor Employee will receive, once they have been approved.   

 

Ultimately it is up to the Contractor Business Admin to ensure that their Contractor Employee, once added into their respected site. Are downloading the SecurePass Contractor Management Application, completing the registration process and then Inducting themselves onto the SecurePass Site.  



  • If SMS notifications have been turned on and a registration text message has been sent via an Admin. A Contractor Business Employee will receive the following notification. 



  • If the offsite induction in SecurePass is available with the client you are associated with and you, as a contractor admin, have provided an active email address in your contractor employee's details, your contractor employee will be able to receive an offsite induction invitation email below or an SMS notification  






Important: Completing an OffSite Induction does not complete a employees registration. That can only be done once an Employee has downloaded the Contractor Management Application.
